A disturbing case has been reported in Delhi’s Geeta Colony where a woman’s chopped-up body has been recovered by police from the Geeta Colony area near a flyover on Wednesday morning. The police has initiated a probe after finding the body of the woman chopped up into several pieces.
This incident looked like the re-run of the horrific Shraddha Walker murder case. Reportedly, the Delhi police received the information about the incident around 9:20 am. The body parts were scattered around in many places near the flyover in Geeta Colony. Police officials have seized the crime spot and a forensic team was called for further investigation and gathering evidence in the matter.
Last year on May 18, 2022, 27-year-old Shraddha Walker was allegedly killed by her live-in partner Aaftab Amin Poonawala.
Aaftab Poonawala was accused of killing her girlfriend, Shraddha Walker, and cutting her into 35 pieces to dispose of her body. Aftab allegedly to have preserved the chopped-up body parts in a refrigerator and burnt faces to hide her identity before dumping them in the forests of Chhatarpur.
In April 2022, Vikas Walker, the father of Shraddha Walker, expressed his demand for the involvement of Aftab’s parents in the case.
The case came to light almost six months later, when Walkar’s father filed a missing complaint after failing to contact her daughter for months. Aaftab Poonawala was arrested by the Delhi police and charged with murder and destruction of evidence.
Back in November 2020, Shraddha Walker filed a complaint that Aaftab had threatened to cut her into pieces and throw them away. Shraddha Walker had filed a police complaint against Aaftab at the Tulinj police station in Maharashtra’s Palghar.
The letter was shared by Shraddha Walker’s neighbour in Vasai, with whom she had gone to the police station. Shraddha Walker’s case shocked the country with such a heinous crime committed by her boyfriend, Aftab. This time, a similar case has been reported.
