The Vedas, considered to be one of the most sacred scriptures of the Hindu religion, also claimed to be among the world’s oldest scriptures, could now be experienced in a park in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. It is the first park in the country which is based on a Vedic theme.
People here will get to experience things mentioned in Vedas, materially. The park accommodates more than 50,000 plants and trees that find mentioned in Vedas. Along with finding Vedic scenes painted on the park’s walls, visitors will also get to experience scenes from Vedas in the form of a laser light show that will give them a more realistic experience.
Veda is said to be the treasure vault of wisdom and knowledge.
The term Veda means knowledge, which is the underlying idea of the existence of humanity. Vedas manifest the cause, function, and response of human existence in a way that encourages liberation or Nirvana.
They have writings about the nature of the Divine and are not restricted to one particular God or idea.
A major part of Vedas is hymns, which are chanted and it is said that those hymns must be chanted with great magnificence because there is a spiritual essence to the chants. It is believed that vibrations produced by chanting those hymns ensure well-being and healing and the process gives the chanter a therapeutic experience.
The Vedic-theme-based park, named Ved Van Park, characterises passages written in the Rig Veda, Atharva Veda, Yajur Veda, and Sama Veda and as per the reports, the park has been developed with a budget of Rs 27 crore.
The park is located in Sector 78 of Noida. The nearest metro to the park is Metro Sector 101. People can visit the park any day from 8.00 a.m to 9.00 p.m. The time of the laser show is 7.45 p.m
