A similar video of men in Ghaziabad pointing their guns and dancing became viral recently. But these videos point to another situation, that of unbridled aggression and anger among citizens. Even if these arms are licensed, pointing them in public puts the lives of local people at risk. The Umesh Pal murder case is still fresh in the minds of people as is the live TV killing of Atiq Ahmed and his brother. Such scenes have descended from the silver screen and are being lived on the streets of Uttar Pradesh.
