In an unexpected occurrence that occurred on a Delhi Metro train, two elderly women were involved in a heated argument with an alleged couple over their inappropriate behaviour in the metro. The four of them got into a heated argument. Â A video of the verbal spat went viral on social media, highlighting the continuing discussion in the nation about moral policing and public etiquette.
In the viral video shared by Jist media, it can be seen that the two women are expressing their discomfort with how the alleged couple was standing. The video starts with the women saying to the alleged couple that they should be shamed for how they are behaving in the metro. Listening to this the man came infornt of the women and started arguing with them that they are not doing anything wrong.
The women can be heard saying that whatever they are doing they are not supposed to do that in public places, to which the man replied that the two women are no one to intervein in their matter as they are not doing anything wrong. The girl also came in support of his man and she also started arguing with the two elderly women.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is requesting travellers to report any offensive behavior they see while travelling in response to the scandal. The company has also promised to enhance the presence of surveillance personnel to keep a closer eye on similar situations.
The incident occurs soon after another video that just went viral on social media, featuring two young women got into a heated argument that swiftly escalated into a physical fight.
The women can be seen ready for the impending fight by setting aside their phones as the video opens with one of them holding her sneaker as if it were a weapon. In the video, it can be seen that other passengers in the ladies’ compartment are pleading with them not to use violence. As the two ladies trade threats and wait for the other to act, the tension grows in the ladies’ compartment after that.
The woman with the water flask tosses its contents at her opponent as the fight worsens as feelings mount and the verbal exchange devolves into a storm of insults.
