A video is doing round on social media in which an elephant can be seen chasing a tiger. According to the report, the wild elephants first chased the tiger as it roamed through the jungle in Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. The tiger then emerged onto the track where the safari vehicles carrying tourists from Sitapur were exploring the reserve. The herd of wild elephants quickly caught up with the jeeps and startled tourists.

In this thrilling incident, tourists on a jeep safari encountered a wild tiger being chased by a herd of wild elephants in the jungle. The video has gone viral on social media platforms. Many social media users have shared the video and shared their opinions on social media. Wildlife animals need privacy and should be treated with humiliation, one user stated.

Humans are not satisfied with the land that they have over-occupied to survive. Their greed are never-ending said another user. Elephants are truly fascinating animals, besides the obvious trunk and big ears; they have a number of other specialised parts of their bodies that are incredibly interesting, others said.

Earlier this month, on June 9, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the death of tigers in Dudhwa National Park and instructed the Forest Minister, Additional Chief Secretary of Forest, and other officers of the Forest Department to immediately visit Dudhwa National Park and conduct a detailed investigation and submit the report.

The best time to visit Dudhwa National Park is between November and May. The park remains open to the public from 15th November to 15th June, though the months of May and June are a little too hot for comfort. While visiting the Park during winter you must remember to take woolen clothes as it can get pretty chilly, particularly between December to February months.

The Dudhwa National Park is an attraction for tourists and can be reached by road, train or plane. The Dudhwa Railway Station is situated near, at a distance of about 4 km while the nearest Airport is Lucknow. People can hire a taxi or cab to reach the national park from both Airport and Railway station.
